THE ARGENS
LISTED AS ONE OF THE 7 WONDERS OF PROVENCE BY LE FIGARO MAGAZINE IN 2015, THE ARGENS IS ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WILD SITES ON THE CÔTE D’AZUR!

TAKE A NEW AND COMFORTABLE KAYAKCANOE AND DISCOVER A LESSER KNOWN AREA,
WHICH IS PRESERVED AND TRANQUIL.

YOU ARE ON THE CÔTE D’AZUR, IN THE VAR DEPARTMENT,
NEAR TO BEACHES AND MAJOR TOURIST CENTRES,
BUT THE LANDSCAPES THAT YOU COME ACROSS OFFER MAJESTIC PANORMAS:
LUSH VEGETATION, CALM WATERS, HILLS AND CLIFFS,
ARE THE BIRTHPLACE OF A RICH, PRESERVED BIODIVERSITY.

THE ARGENS FORMS THE BED OF A TRULY CHARMING VALLEY.
IT RISES AT SEILLON-SOURCE-D’ARGENS (NEAR TO SAINT-MAXIMIN-LA-
SAINTE-BAUME) AT AN ALTITUDE OF 269 METRES.
THE COAST RIVER SNAKES ALONG FOR SOME 115.6 KM AND FLOWS INTO THE
MEDITERRANEAN IN THE FRÉJUS GULF.

WE RECOMMEND YOU EXPLORE THE FINAL 40 KILOMETRES OF THE LOWER ARGENS VALLEY :
LEAVING FROM ARCS-SUR-ARGENS, PASSING THROUGH ROQUEBRUNE-SUR-ARGENS
TO THE SEA.
THE WATERS HERE ARE ALWAYS BOUNTIFUL AND KAYAK CANOEING
IS PRACTISED IN COMPLETE SAFETY.
THERE IS A VARIETY OF ROUTES TO SUIT ALL LEVELS,
FROM BEGINNER TO ADVANCED.

OUR ROUTES ARE LOCATED IN A NATURA 2000 NATURAL AREA
WHICH OFFERS A REMARKABLE DIVERSITY OF FAUNA AND FLORA.
